They originate from the corrupted lake, where dark mana has become the strongest. It doesn't take long for blobs of fur to float to the top, soaking up the dark mana so they can multiply or unleash it whenever they're on land. The more there are, the stronger the erosion gets. Erosion levels are similar to rusting and don't do a higher amount of damage.
