Description: The Destructive Mana Technique is a technique made by those who sought to harness destruction itself to destroy their enemies. Making the stable flow of mana within their body unstable to empower themselves and gain the ability to manipulate it at their will.
Pathways:
Stage One: To master the first stage the practitioner must awaken the sense of destruction within their body, learning to rial their mana up and make it change into a semi destructive form.
Bonus: The mana within the user's body becomes more unstable, making any magic attack that involves explosions 2x as effective as well as increasing their general spells by 2x.
Backlash: Spells that require concentration now take 50 percent longer as it's harder to focus on more unstable mana. Using explosive magic also deals medium damage recoil upon use.
Stage Two: To master the second stage the practitioner must hone and harness their semi unstable mana, refining their sense of destruction to obliterate rather than mindlessly explode. Containing their destructive mana and releasing it in powerful but controlled bursts from their body.
Bonus: The practitioner's physical stats are amplified by 2x, and when punching and doing other melee motions, the practitioner can choose to unleash a burst of unstable energy up to 5 meters in front of them or unleash the energy into an object to make it shatter or be pushed back.
Backlash: The user is not resistant to their explosions, dealing damage that scales to 20 percent of their own attack on their limbs when they release energy bursts.
Stage Three: To master the third stage of this technique, the practitioner must focus on further refining and controlling their semi-unstable mana into pure destruction that they themselves can control at will and manipulate however they please. Turning their semi-unstable mana into a purer, more destructive form.
Bonus: The practitioner via manipulating their destructive mana becomes capable of firing it in pure blasts in addition being able to manipulate their mana within a 10 meter radius. Previous aspects amplified to 3x and range of shockwaves increased to 10 meters.
Backlash: Disturbing of control and concentration will result in attacks made from their mana to explode violently, in addition the users body becomes less tolerant of spells receiving 20 percent more damage from them.
Stage Four: To master the fourth stage of this technique the practitioner must incorporate their destructive mana into their body, elevating their sense of destruction and honing it into a mindset, amplifying their capabilities to the max.
Bonus: Control and concentration over their mana increases allowing them to shape and compress at will. The user also gains the ability of entering a Destructive state where the aspects of the lower stages are boosted by 4x. Has a 10 turn duration, 30 turn cooldown.
Backlash: State of destruction leaves user only thinking about destruction causing harm to themselves and others. Additionally user because 20 percent more vulnerable first 10 turn of cooldown
Final Stage: To master the final stage, the practitioner must become one with the destruction in their body.
